Katie Anderson, Eve

Katie graduated last year with a First Class degree in Drama from UWE, and is delighted to be playing Eve in Darlings. Learning to understand such a complex and deep-thinking female character has been a joy.

While being in Bristol she has taken as many opportunities for acting as she can, including playing Alice in Closer, Jess in Love and Money, that was taken to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Maxine Jones in A State of Mind, and two CPA productions; The Witches of Eastwick and Little Shop of Horrors where she played Sukie and Audrey.

Her most prestigious roles before coming to university have been Kim in Miss Saigon, and Kathy in A Christmas Carol at the Theatre Royal Plymouth. However, a personal highlight was playing ‘Prostitute number 2’ in Les Misérables

She has written several short plays and stories as well as frequenting slam poetry events in and around the South West.
